Sophie Darling is a specialist scarf designer and British maker of high-end luxury scarves, garments and fabrics. Her ethos is to make wearable art working in limited runs much like an artists edition. Her contemporary print aesthetic and unique approach to print and pattern is Sophie Darling's signature. Garments are cut from whole panels making each piece individual much like the clients who wear her work. Her belief in slow fashion and creating pieces that are art make them investments in the future.
"My clothes have a story. They have an identity. They have a character and a purpose. That's why they become classics. Because they keep on telling a story. They are still telling it." Vivienne Westwood
Sophie started her label in 2013 after leaving her role as a design director in London. Prior to this she ran an acclaimed handbag company, Kimchi- globally renowned stocked in Liberty's in London Japan, New York and Australia amongst others.
