Darling Studios, over 22 years in the making
When Holly M Atelier and I first took this studio on 23 years ago - we had no idea where it would lead.
Little more than a working room, absolutely filthy and dark — but it was a place to experiment, print, and build ideas.
It was always part of the vision to get the space to where is it now. Not just Darling Studios but also a creative hub for other designers to build their own businesses.
What began as a simple studio has grown into the creative home of Sophie Darling — a place where prints are developed, garments are made, and ideas come to life.
Fast forward to 2024 after saying goodbye to our shop in town we did a huge revamp, taking down walls, stripping floors and bringing the vision to life. The print table became a huge 6.5 mts long and we added new updated equipment.
Part of the vision was to add the showroom and introduce people to our craft and the connection to the products we make.
We now open the studio's for immersive experiences whether you join us for a workshop, a talk, or a personal consultation, stepping into the studio offers a gorgeous glimpse behind the scenes of how the work is created.
