Sumptuous hand dyed velvet appliqué star cushion freehand machine embroidered by Ellie mac. A collaboration between SD n’ EM. Edition of 6, no two the same but designed to complement one another.
Materials
Each star is individually put together according to pattern and colour using SD silk remnants. Ellie chose metallic, silky threads using a satin stitch - that compliment each star. Little accents add EM’s unique signature style to every piece.
The velvet was dyed by hand in our studio and silk chosen to work with each tone of the cotton velvet

Available in two sizes: 50 x 50 cms and 60 x 60 cms
